Here you will find the basic ways to bring good energy into your love life according to Feng Shui practitioners. Now, if you are like some of my single girlfriends that say, “I am not looking for a relationship right now”, you have to know that feng shui helps you relationships in general: with friends, colleagues, partners, etc. So, keep reading.
Attracting Romance to Your Life
If you would like to bring luck into your love life, Feng Shui gives you a number of “cures” that you can use. The objects that you surround yourself with will make a big difference in your relationships.
The most important Feng Shui tip to improve your love life and your life all around, is to rid your home (especially your bedroom) of clutter. Unnecessary clutter will have a negative impact on your life and so you should start by getting rid of everything that is taking up space. Keep drawers tidy, pick clothing up from the floor and do not just leave things lying everywhere. Remember that a cluttered home leads to a cluttered mind. To be able to accept love into your life you need to have a clear head and be happy in your surroundings. Keep everything as organized as possible to make yourself more receptive. Don’t keep anything under the bed. Allow the energy to flow freely around it.
Your bedroom needs to be a romantic place, so the last images you want to see here are photos of Mom and Dad. Children’s artwork and toys will also undermine your sex life. Celebrate these relationships in other areas of your home and keep the bedroom as your private retreat.
Keep the television out of the bedroom. Nothing kills romance like late night television. If you have trouble falling asleep, try reading love poetry or romantic novels. Your subconscious will shift accordingly, making you a virtual love magnet. The same goes for exercise equipment and computers.
If you are a single woman, or man, make your bedroom look like you are sharing it with someone. This can mean putting a bedside table on the other side of the bed, or even putting an extra tooth brush in the bathroom. Girls, don’t put your collection of stuffed animals on the bed. This is a big turn off and a no no in Feng Shui.
That old pillow from college and those flannel sheets aren’t doing your love life any favors. So splurge on pillows, blankets and sheets that invite you to linger in bed.
Open the windows often to keep the air fresh.You cannot have good Feng Shui in your bedroom if the air is stale and polluted. However, plants in the bedroom are not good Feng Shui, unless your bedroom is fairly large and they are located far from the bed. Aquariums and fountains will also disturb your sleep. And contrary to popular belief, mirrors in the ceiling are the worst thing you can do in Feng Shui!!! No, seriously, no mirrors in the bedroom. They energize the room too much to give you a relaxing sleep.
Try to use objects of colors related to the Relationships Area of your bedroom: white, pinks, reds… You should surround yourself with positive images. If you have pictures, sculptures or paintings of people on their own, they could be having a negative effect on your relationships. Replace them with pictures of happy couples. Always put two flowers, two figurines, two candles, etc. This will make you a little more receptive to love when it comes into your life. Try not to have set ups of single chairs, create cozy seating arrangements for two.
Never use dried flowers in your home, especially in the bedroom. They have a negative impact on your life. Fresh flowers on the other hand, are perfect and they look really good too. Candles are also perfect to brighten up the bedroom. Actually, candle light is the best kind of lighting you can have in there. As this is not always possible, use a dimmer to control the light in the bedroom.
Now see what room falls in the far right corner of your house. This is the Relationships Area of the home. If there’s a bathroom there, always… always keep the toilet lid down. Drains and toilets are escape routes for energy, and in this case, it can flush your love life down the drain.
Feng Shui is designed to help you to draw in good luck in all aspects of your life. With romance, the idea is to entice romance: keep things in pairs, use romantic colors, and be more receptive to love. Do not surround yourself with lone figures and fill your bedroom with candles and luxury bedding. If you follow these tips, then you will be well on your way to attracting your perfect partner.

Love, Relationships and Feng Shui
If you think that Feng Shui is only good for your home or your office, think again. This can also be used for love and relationships. Here are some tips you should know.
1. If you are married or in a relationship, hang pictures of you together with your mate.
2. For married couples, place a pair of objects in the far right corner of the bedroom otherwise known as the southwest corner. A few good examples are a pair of Mandarin ducks or cranes as these are symbols of marital bliss. Another is a heart shaped figurine made from pink quartz crystal.
3. You surely have mirrors in the bedroom. If they are facing the bed, relocate them because it reflects the couple on the bed. Some believe that this will cause a failure in the relationship because of the entry of a third party. Believe it or not, televisions are just as negative as mirrors do get rid of it.
4. As for the bed, make sure that this is not in direct line to the door. This is because the dead take your with your feet first. It should also be accessible from three sides as this will allow you to keep your partner.
5. You should always treat yourselves to fresh flowers and once they wilt, replace it. Never put these in the southwest corner of the room as this will clash with the element of romance, namely earth.
6. If there are any abstract, dark or sad artworks in the bedroom, take it out. These things encourage negativity when this room should be peaceful and safe for those who sleep there. You can replace it with a painting of Peonies, love birds or silk flowers as these represents love.
7. You must never work out in the bedroom because this represents hard work that is often a hindrance of romantic space.
8. Should the bedroom doors squeak, fix it because it blocks romantic energy from entering the bedroom.
9. For those who have toilets and unfortunately this is located on the south west corner of the room, don’t worry because you can fix it by hanging a five rod wind chime.
10. The bedroom should be well ventilated so old energy moves out of the room.
11. It will also be a good idea to buy yourselves a gift as this symbolizes your relationship. Put this in a prominent place in the room or the home so you are able to remember your partner.
12. But what if you are still single? Well Feng Shui may also work for you. You do this by making a wish list of what qualities you want in an ideal partner and also the ideal relationship. These are two different things and when you write it, be specific. It may not happen today or tomorrow but one day, your ideal partner will show up and you can have your dream come true.
Feng Shui can help you keep the love alive in your relationship by blocking out negative things and then embracing those that are positive. This may mean relying more of Yin which symbolizes femininity more than Yang which is masculinity but it is all good as this causes a healthy balance with the opposite sex.

there is no such thing as attracting love in fengshui. the closest is to create an energy that attracts people into your life – the difference is that it does not choose the kind of people you attract.
in fengshui, each element (fire, earth, metal, water, wood) and their sub classes are represented by numbers 1 to 9 to make analysis easier. when elements combine they form new energy.
so in this case, you need the energy that is formed by 1 (water) and 4 (wood). when you have these 2 energies in a space, then your house tend to attract people into your life. but it is not that easy, you cannot just put water in a plant and that’s it. since there are 2 kinds of wood 3 and 4, it is difficult to use it physically. (3 is conflict and 4 is death, except when used in special combinations like 1 and 4)
so, we use the location of 4 using the annual flying star chart or where is 4 located in 2009 in your house as an energy.
in fengshui, the coming time has an energy form which interact with space on earth. thus, it is possible pinpoint a particular when you will be lucky in what field. in this case, we use flying stars method to locate the changing of energies inside the house, and to take advantage of it.
so when you have located 4 in 2009 chart, which is the northwest most of your house. this is the place where you put 4 green living plants (must be green, must be living; when a plant turns yellow or wilt, you need to replace it when a green one; you cannot do this if the location is a bedroom or a bathroom, bec you can complicate or worsen your life).
the critical part in fengshui is that you need to have that chemical process. in the case of the plant, you need to have that growth (of wood element) to interact with 1 energy, which is already in that area occuring naturally. water is not really present there. but based on the flying star chart, it is. so, just put the growing plants there and the technique will work. as the fengshui practitioners say, this is to harmonize nature. well, not really, it just stop people from asking too many questions.
this technique attracts people into your life. it does not choose the particular person you are looking for, not even near to the idea of a soul mate. but it is a good technique to attract clients into your business.
this method is based on time, which means by october to november of this year, the energy will change its location. so you need to change the location of those plants.
this is just a tiny part of what fengshui is about.
has it worked?
for looking for love part – no.
for the attracting people into my life part – yes, alot of people actually, in my business, and new friends. so, every year, i do this method, whenever i can. and i have friends who have tried and tested this method. and it works for us.
